Saturday, October 3rd & Sunday, October 4th
12:00pm-4:00pm
This is a two session class
Interested in alternative photographic processes? Try cyanotypes! In this two session workshop, participants will learn everything they need to get started creating and toning cyanotypes at home with their own photographs.
The first day of the class will cover the basics of making consistent cyanotype prints including preparing photo negatives, coating paper, and exposure test strips. The second session will cover how to bleach and tone cyanotypes, different materials that can be used, and creative applications of toning.
Participants will leave with a set of colorful, toned cyanotypes of their own photographs along with the knowledge needed to continue experimenting with the process on their own.
