Class Dates & Times:
- Thursday, July 26th 6-9 pm

Instructor: Scott Holford

During this class, students will be designing then creating their very own beer-inspired screenprint. The instructor will lead students through the process of screenprinting. Guiding students as they make their images, the instructor will provide inspiration in the form of beer-related imagery, such as pints, bottles, hops, kegs and will encourage tales of drinking-induced hijinks and fun. Refreshments will be provided to get those creative juices (beer) flowing. Light snacks will also be provided.

Instructor Bio: Scott Holford obtained his BFA in Printmaking with a Teaching Certification from Tyler School of Art in 2011. Since then, he has taught middle school art in the Philadelphia suburbs, while obtaining a MEd from Cabrini University in 2016. He is a Fob Holder Alum at Second State Press, where he produces the majority of his prints. He has shown in both the Quarter Sheet Challenge, Print Exchange and the annual Fob Holder Exhibition. He participates at a number of art shows and festivals under the business name of “Golden Key Prints”. Holford uses a variety of printmaking techniques in his work, but most notably etching and screenprinting.
